    • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
    • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    • Pat chicken dry with a paper towel.
    • Slice into cutlets or bite-sized pieces.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
    • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Sear chicken on both sides (4-5 minutes per side) until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
  • Cook the Pasta:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
    • Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining. Set pasta aside.
  • Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Stir in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
    • Add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
    • Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Combine Everything:
    • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
    • Slice chicken and place on top of the pasta.
    • Sprinkle with parsley and red pepper flakes (optional).
